Today with us on the Incite Change Podcast we have two guests for the first time – Anthony Curcuruto and Ezekiel Feche. Good friends and colleagues of Coach Mauro.
They have both been here individually to share but today – after much request – we have them as a tag team to drop some more nuggets to help you in your fitness journey and coaching clients.
Listen to their freestyle conversation where they share their experiences with motivating their clients and themselves to find and stick with activities they enjoy.
They share their perspective and experiences to encourage others to understand their goals, and the importance of finding the right information and help that works best to meet their individual needs. We are usually drawn to stuff that we are good at. If you don’t like cardio it’s probably because you need more cardio, if you don’t like weight lifting it’s probably because you need more lifting. We need to cultivate the habit of doing the uncomfortable stuff, and having balance in our programs and routines to see true results.
Anthony encourages us to learn to navigate and keep a healthy work-life balance with all of life’s pressures that we face daily. Health is very important. Learn to fill up your cup before you can pour out for others.
Zeke advises us to just take the first step and not get stuck in analysis paralysis. You will get better as you go. Also, do what you need to get by, and don’t focus on the mistakes everyone is making. Give yourself credit and figure out what lights your flame so you can light up the world.

Quotes:
[Anthony] “Learn how to navigate our health through the time of having your kids at home and going through stressful times in your life. It’s stressful on everyone”
[Anthony] “Life race is not a 100-meter sprint it’s a marathon and one year or two years of your life is not the end of the world whatever side of life you stand on to make sure you take care of your self-filling up your cup before you help anybody.”
[Zeke] “We usually talk about things people are doing wrong in fitness and all the BS and how to cut through it and stuff. If you want to make a change just do something…what’s even worse is paralysis by analysis. I hate seeing that more than people so bothered by something is wrong.
[Mauro] “Do something, decide, get started, even if you start veering off in the wrong direction you can get back on track”
