Professional Decisions with Louis

Today with us on the Incite Change Podcast, Coach Mauro sits down with a friend and former colleague, Louis Jourdan Brasil.

Louis, a junior associate at a small venture capital firm in Toronto, is a former professional soccer player who played professionally in Brasil and the United States. Although he no longer plays professionally, he is still involved in the sport by coaching children of different ages.

In determining where his fitness journey began, Louis takes us through his childhood, in which he was a very athletic and active child. He recalls an incident in junior high school when he was eliminated from the junior soccer team, which gave him the momentum to push himself to become the best.

His athletic and fitness knowledge comes from both ends of the spectrum ranging from expertise through his professional career and his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from York University.

Listen as Louis breaks down the importance of making professional decisions, understanding your objectives for health and fitness, and knowing that your coach is there to help and guide you along the journey.
