Today with us on the Incite Change Podcast, Coach Mauro sits down with Abiola.
Abiola like many others wanted to be active in sports growing up and did not have the opportunity and later developed an unhealthy relationship with food. Having made many attempts along the journey such as different diet fads etc she later realized getting started was something as simple as walking.
Having the drive for change and noticing she felt different from just walking, she decided to take matters into her own hands and begin trying different workouts and routines through her research and bouncing knowledge off others.
She also speaks to us about starting small and understanding what exercises/plan works best for you. Listening to your body and being consistent is ideal for the process in addition to being strict with your nutrition and understanding what your body needs.
In closing, the most important thing she wants us to remember is we be mindful of how we speak to ourselves. The things we tell ourselves matter and you can always Do Whatever You Want To Do.
