Today with us on the Incite Change Podcast, Mauro sits down with his colleague and fellow mentor Dustin Pederson.
Dustin, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, currently living in Portland, Oregon, speaks to us about his fitness journey which began at 19 while in college. Not knowing much at the time, he would just mimic others and try different workouts until he eventually figured things out.
He takes us down memory lane to when he first got into bodybuilding in 2013 when he decided to enter into the Men’s Physique category. At that point, he was introduced to his coach, Brandon Falcon, who wrote him his first nutrition plan which helped him understand how important nutrition was in his goal of gaining weight.
He opens up about how he was able to keep his business alive during the pandemic and how social media is not something he enjoys doing. He emphasizes the importance of having a fitness plan with the correct nutrition, structure and routine in order to see the progress towards your goal.
In closing, Dustin shares why it is necessary to have a coach/mentor and learn the information that will truly help you along the way.
